    • Changuimun Gate

      118 Changuimun-ro Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

While taking a walk in Buam-dong, I came across Korea's 1881st national treasure Changuimum Gate. A mystical aura surrounds it. In 1623, rebellion factions entered this gate into the royal palace and succeeded in their coup.

    • Seokpajeong

      11 Changuimun-ro Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

Do you know about the hidden place at the entrance of Buam-dong hill? It is called Seokpajeong, known to be the villa for Heungseon Daewongun, the regent of the Joseon Kingdom. A total paradise kk. The City of Seoul designated it as a tangible cultural asset in 1974. Lets hang out in the garden loved by a King.

    • Gwanghwamun

      161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.7

Anyone up to take some reels?! Gwanghwamun is where the Arirang flash mob took place, along with Dokdo island. Its name means The king's great virtue shines on the entire nation.

    • Gyeongboggung Palace

      161 Sajik-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.0

Venturing to Gyeongboggung, the newest hot place for night scenery. They say you can rent traditional Korean garb in all colors. Which color do you like? 'Gyeongbog' means hoping that the whole nation and all the people will be blessed.

    • Gyeonghuigung Palace

      44 Saemunan-roJongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.7

I got under the eaves of Gyeonghuigung to escape the rain. The Dancheong, which are traditional patterns full of color, is said to protect the wood from the weather. Thanks to the rain, I captured a dap selfie in one of Korea's five major palaces.

    • Dongnimmun Gate

      251 Tongil-ro, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

Korea's Independence Gate. A structure embodying the deep desire for everlasting independence after Japanese colonial rule ended. One could say it is the most independent gate in Korea! Kk. The center of Seoul is connected through the gate, easily accessing Seodaemun, Sinchon, Hongdae and even Jong-ro.

    • Cheonggyecheon

      148, Seorin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.7

Since I'm going to be dancing, I thought about a location that was both iconic and central to Seoul. This led me here. A place where one can feel both comfort and a dynamic vibe of the city center. It is close to Gwanghwamun where I visited. Sometimes a lonesome heron would show up, giving people a joyful reason to stop and take pictures.

    • Sunglyemun

      40 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      5.0

I stopped by Sunglyemun, also known as Namdaemun, on the way to Namdaemun market. It is easily accessible from Seoul Station. At noon, you can see the traditional guards. I was just walking on Seoulro 7107 and Sunglyemun could be seen from there.

    • Heunginjimun

      288 Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.3

Also known as Dongdaemun, Heungjnjimun is one of the four main gates of Seoul. Why am I here? To eat tteokbokki at Gwangjang market and take a stroll. It is Korea's national treasure and, along with Sunglyemun, is the main structure comprising the Fortress Wall of Hanyang (Seoul's old name) during the Joseon Dynasty.

    • Gojong’s Enthronement

      1-68 Sejongno, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.2

Though a small structure, it is detailed, brilliant and a bit exotic. While looking at the old monument and modern buildings, the monument's description caught my eye. It was to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Gojong's enthronement and being designated emperor after Korea's name changed to the Korean Empire.

    • Seoul City Hall

      110 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |

I arrived at Seoul Plaza, the cultural venue in Seoul! It is Seoul's center plaza where you can lie on the grass or enjoy large scale events. A hot place for couples.

    • Culture Station Seoul 284

      1 Tongil-ro, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

I came here at the Culture Station Seoul 284 since exhibitions are so hot these days. Let me tell you about this place. Seoul Station was once the center of transportation in the Korean peninsula. It is said to have been planned as an international station linking Japan, Manchuria and Europe. Now it has been reinvented as a space for exhibitions and other cultural events. Ain't it cool?

    • Blue House

      1 Cheongwadae-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      3.8

While I was deep in thought about the location for today's dance challenge, I ended up at the Blue House. Boy am I glad. Opened to the public from this year, the Blue House served as the workplace/residence of the South Korean President. As long as I'm here, I'm taking a picture by the fountains. >,<. Anyone care to join me?

    • Art Deoksugung

      99 Sejong-daero, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

I like museums. Maybe because I was born a painting (laugh)? This is a one-of-a-kind art museum that seamlessly connects Korea's traditions with its modernity. Since it's such a significant place, I wanted to have a dance challenge here.

    • Art Seoul

      30 Samcheong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

I love artistic vibes. While I'm walking down Bukchon-gil, I find a museum I like to practice my dance challenge. Gyeongboggung and Korea's modern art co-exist in this area. Such an amazing place!

    • Olympic Park

      424 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

I'm headed to a concert at this park, which was built before I was born in 1988 for the Seoul Olympic Games. Now, it is also a performance venue for many famous musicians and considered as one of the world's five best sculpture parks along with those in the U.S., U.K., Japan and Norway.

    • Dosan Park

      20 Dosan-daero 45-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

HI there!. Today, I'm at the hip Rodeo Drive in Apgujeong, Gangnam. How about a short break at the spacious Dosan Park? It's a place where I always take a stroll whenever I visit Rodeo Drive. The park was named after the independence activist Chang-Ho Ahn to commemorate his patriotism and spirit for education.

    • (Seokchon Lake Park)

      47 Jamsil-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

I stopped by Seokchon Lake after sight-seeing L World Tower! A while back, the lake served as an important waterway connecting Chungcheong-do, Jeolla-do and Gyeongsang-do. In 2014, artist Florentijn Hofman's symbol of happiness called the Rubber Duck was displayed on the water. Did you all see it?

    • Yeouido Park

      68 Yeouigongwon-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

There is a vibe of challenge and adventure in this place. I like the futuristic structures and the airplane here. An airplane runway used to sit here, but it has been transformed into a park used as a venue for both culture and a healthy rest area for the public. Should you visit here, you have to stop by the monument to the Korean Air Force and the C-47 transport. Who knows? Maybe they'll give us a ride!

    • Yeouido Hanriver Park

      85 Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

This is the Han River Park, the chosen place for picnics. I'm coming from visiting the aquarium at the 63 Square building. How about we rent a tent, place a mat on the ground a get some ChiMac (chicken and beer)?

    • Montmartre Park

      177-3 Seocho-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

I'm here to meet a friend from France. This is Montmartre Park! Many French nationals reside in the nearby Seorae Village and this is why both the park and the street were named Montmartre. Some say you can see a rabbit digging a hole but it hasn't been seen lately. Maybe it's because of the clock tower? Why does Alice come to mind?

    • Inwang mountain

      Jongno-gu and Hongje-dong, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

Do you remember the large mountain behind Gyeongboggung? That's Inwang mountain. Have you heard of the mountain gym? Let me tell you about Inwang mountain, which is a hot place for novice hikers. I'm near the top, which is an amazing place to take in the old fortress, forest of skyscrapers and the mountain.

    • Square

      100-115, Hoehyeon-dong 1(il)-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

As I was walking down from N Tower, I found a great park. It's high up so you can look down at the city view, as well as take in the harmonious scene between the Hilton Hotel and the forest of skyscrapers. The sprinklers that water the grass look like mini fountains and the open space is great to get some sun!

    • Namsan Park

      125-54, Namsangongwon-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

I took the cable car down to get here! It's a place for both exercise and winding down. If you hike up from the beginning, you can see the fortress walls and, near the end, stands Namsan Tower. Lots of doggies talking their walks, too.

    • N Seoul Tower

      105 Namsangongwon-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

It's the second tallest landmark in Seoul, home to both a park and cultural venues. It's also a place full of love where happy couples and families hang padlocks to symbolize their love. How about taking the cable car up and having a dance challenge?

    • L World Tower

      300 Olympic-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

The always hot L World Tower. At over a hundred stories, it is Korea's tallest landmark. It has a shopping mall and a theme park. Great to put on social media. Seokchon Lake is here as well.

    • 63 Square

      50, 63-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.5

It is Seoul's tallest building, only 1 meter shorter than Namsan mountain. At sunset, you can see the building light up from the sunlight. Dancing in front of this golden building will make me look golden too! It's near the Han River Park and a great place to experience the cherry blossoms in the spring.

    • DDP

      281 Eulji-ro Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.3

I'm here at DDP, which was the posthumous work of renowned architect Dame Zaha Hadid T.T. Located in the center of Seoul, it is regarded as an art and cultural landmark. Isn't it great?

    • Statue of Gangnam Style

      524 Bongeunsa-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.8

A place comes to mind when I think of dance. It's where the statue of K-Pop musician Psy resides, depicting his highly addictive and popular dance move from his song Gangnam Style. The song's popularity, which began as it climbed the Billboard charts, led to this statue.

    • Music Library

      246 Itaewon-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.9

You can't dance without music! Without knowing what this place is, its unique design will catch your eye. One design characteristic is that it's built on a slant surface without having leveled the ground the structure sits on. If you need to get away from the city, come here to the open space and enjoy some tunes!

    • Starfield Library

      513 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.6

If the Gangnam Style Statue is Gangnam's above-ground landmark, then the COEX Starfield Library is it's underground landmark. You may think how I can dance in a library? Well, COVERTLY! (may get in trouble if I'm caught).

    • de Bukchon

      49, Bukchon-ro 11-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.3

From Samcheongdong to Bukchon! I came here last week with a friend and returned to see if this was a good place for a dance challenge! A November 2011 survey of 2,000 foreign visitors showed that exploring the short alleys of Bukchon was their fourth favorite activity in Seoul. Even the old structures here are perfect. They can't been seen anywhere in modern times.

    • Hanok Village

      26, Jahamun-ro 8-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul,
      |
      4.3

Bukchon's sister area Seochon! Both are designated preserves for traditional Korean homes. I heard TV dramas have been filmed here, along with K-pop star I.U.'s remake album. I have to post a story here. What do you think?

    • Namsangol Hanok Village, Seoul

      28, Toegye-ro 34-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul,
      |
      4.3

I was walking down from Namsan Park when this place stole my heart. It's a village of traditional Korean homes that serves as a natural park located near the Chungmuro boulevard, . Traditional weddings are held here and the Seoul Millennium Time Capsule Square makes you feel like you're in a maze. While I'm here, should I leave a message for the time capsule?

    • Garosu-gil

      40, Garosu-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul,
      |
      -

Garosu-gil, a leading commercial area in Seoul, is coming back to life. I've heard that many trendy fashion brands have been popping up here recently so here I am looking for a dance outfit. It's a fashion destination with many unique multi-brand shops. How is my OOTD?

    • Haebangchon

      62, Sinheung-ro 5-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul,
      |
      -

Stepping into Haebangchon next to Gyeongnidan-gil! The history of Korea's modern migrants resides in this place, which is why so much history and culture coexist here. It's appeal is that you can feel so many different characteristics.

    • Gyeongnidan-gil

      210-65 Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul
      |
      3.8

Coming over from Namsan Park is Gyeongnidan-gil. You won't see a shortage of shops, cafes and restaurants here, not to mention pubs. It's a place just right to wander off an explore while looking down at the city view of Yongsan-gu. Come and see~.

    • Euljiro Nogari Street

      17, Eulji-ro 13-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul,
      |
      -

I had a hard time deciding the location today since I wanted a hip place for the dance challenge. How about a beer and some dried nogari (pollack)? Euljiro Nogari street is where the term 'hip place' or 'hip ji' began. Anyone can get nostalgic for the old times in this place. Among the hip places we introduced, this place is where it all began. You can even call it Hipjiro.

    • Jongno 3 stalls alley

      Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      -

Jongno 3 ga is the second pillar along with Euljiro as the original hip place in Seoul. A gathering place for the youth in the 1980s. The pojangmachas (snack carts) within are such a hot place. Lets try to find people for the dance challenge.

    • Samcheongdong-gil

      Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.2

Passion and will guide me in scouting for a dance challenge location! I'm letting my footsteps lead me toward Samcheongdong, which means clear and pure mountains, water and generosity. A great course for couples, I'm wondering if I should bust a move here?

    • Hongdae

      364-27 Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.3

Hongdae is one of Seoul's hottest places filled with youth, culture, shopping and clubs. Hongdae is short for Hongik University and is the birthplace of Korea's indie scene! No dance challenge is complete without this place. Let's get some new dance wardrobe for the challenge vide~

    • Gyeongui Line Forest Park

      147-89 Donggyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.4

The park is attached to Hongdae with some abandoned train tracks converted into a hiking trail. If Hongdae has a dynamic feel, the keywords for this place are 'excursion' and 'healing'. Following the train tracks through the city center leads you to a rest area where you can take a break. It also leads to another hot place! Want to know where?

    • Seongsu Dong

      668-11, Seongsu-dong 1(il)-ga, Seongdong-gu, Seoul,
      |
      -

Seongsu-dong is so hot, a rapidly emerging place in Seoul. It's such a cool place filled with old factory complexes and workshops of handmade shoes masters. I should get some coffee from one of those abandoned-factory-warehouses-turned cafés. Korea's most popular coffee is ice americano or ah-ah for short. Just for fun, try ordering it by saying ah-ah instead.

    • Namdaemun Market

      21 Namdaemunsijang 4-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul
      |
      4.2

    • Gwangjang Market

      88, Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul,
      |
      4.1

Tteokboki (rice cake covered in spicy gravy) is one of my favorite foods. This along with soondae (Korean blood sausage), kimbap (seaweed wrapped rice), raw meat and bindaettok (Korean pancake) are sold by the vendors peppered along the street here and are the institutions of this market. If you do an internet search of famous tourist places in Seoul, Gwanjang market comes highly recommended.

    • Yangjae Flower Market

      27, Gangnam-daero, Seocho-gu, Seoul,
      |
      4.3

Double your pleasure with some flowers. If you're like me and sometimes you just want to be surrounded by flowers, I recommend the Yangjae Flower Market. I stopped by a shop and bought a plant the looks like grapes. The shop even put it in a pink plastic bag. Isn't it cute?

    • Jongno 3 ga Station

      129, Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      3.8

Euljiro and Jongno 3 ga are the two pillars of the original hip places in Seoul. This was the gathering place for the youth in the 1980s so I'm here looking for potential dance challenge recruits. The snack carts within are such hot places.

    • Seoul Bus Station

      129, Jong-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul
      |
      -

I'm hear at Jongno 3ga, the land of jewels and snack carts. Along with Euljiro, this is another hip place with an unique end-of-the century feel to it. Snack carts have become very hot here. Whether you are looking for good food or jewelry, you'll likely find what you need here.!
